Coming from Prather From Prather, take Hwy 168 to the next stop sign. You will turn left and head up the famous "4-lane" for approximately eight miles. Then 168 narrows down again. You will go by Cressman's Store and Texaco Gas Station. This will be the cheapest place to buy gas after you leave the valley. The elevation at Cressman's is approximately 4800'. Continue up Hwy 168 approximately six miles to Shaver Lake, which has several stores and shops (also a nice rest stop). Turn right on Dinkey Creek and continue for about nine miles. You'll pass Clyde Pack Outfit on the left and soon will see a sign for Wishon and Courtright. You will turn right and cross over the Dinkey Creek bridge. This is McKinley Grove Road. You will continue for about 10 miles and see a turnoff to the left, going to Courtright. Continue straight about one mile to Wishon Village.
